This post from the gouda life looks like it could have come straight from one of Yotam Ottolenghi’s cookbooks. As a massive Ottolenghi fan of course I’m intrigued! I like the idea of adding some quality mozzarella, it’s a nice twist on the winning combination of eggplant and pomegranate.

Here’s another post with an interesting twist. Beth from local milk collaborated with friends to produce a unique BBQ sauce featuring freshly-picked blackberries. The sauce is paired with succulent pulled pork that itself is flavoured with smoked salt.
Green papaya salads are a great weakness of mine – I almost have to order one when I see it on the menu. But for some reason I’ve never made my own! This stunning recipe from Billy at A Table for Two might be just the inspiration I need to give it a go.

How cute are these sweet little banana and ice cream treats? They are the creation of Shauna Sever, and would be perfect party food. The addition of a dab of ganache makes, I’m sure, for an indulgent mouthful.

Finally another indulgence: wonderfully short cookies from Shulie at Food Wanderings. These look like they’d just melt in the mouth, including a nice zing of lemon to offset the richness. Yum!
